The foundation of the Vista database is self-declared information, either via the individuals’ business social profile, or by the business owner, or from their actual website, combined with Companies House changes and declarations. 95% of businesses and professionals keep their company and individual profiles up to date.
The Vista records are updated and maintained by each contributing organisation and the individuals themselves.
Telephone updates are carried out on specific subsets of data, or where our machine learning technology has identified higher rates of change, or where a client has requested it.

What about data accuracy?
Every business record is re-verified and updated at least once every 12 months. Email delivery rates are 98%. When people change their job role or move from one company to another these updates get picked up within 30 days. Closed businesses are removed every month. Credit scores are updated monthly. Property type and size are updated annually. Emails are batch tested daily. Unsubscribes are removed daily. Open rates average 15% and some open rates have been as high as 40% on campaigns of 120k records.

Data HQ & Kudos have been in the business of B2B data driven marketing for more than 20 years. We fully understand GDPR and PECR, what is permissible and what is not. What we need to do to maintain compliance and the advice we need to give to our clients for them to remain compliant whilst using Vista.
In a nutshell; by law you cannot send cold emails or make automated phone calls to sole traders and certain types of partnerships. This is because these types of business are considered to be individuals in the eyes of PECR and you must have their express permission before you send them an unsolicited marketing email. However, under PECR you are allowed to send emails to Corporate Subscribers (LTD’s, PLC’s LLP’s and other corporate organisations)
All email addresses maintained in the Vista database are of Corporate Subscribers ONLY. Please ask us for further detail of our processes and compliance.
